REGISTERED NURSE - AMBULATORY CARE CLINIC

Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient infusion setting under the direction of the ordering provider. The RN administers intravenous therapies, monitors patients for infusion reactions and complications, and coordinates care to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes and a positive patient experience. Primary responsibilities include patient assessment and preparation for infusion, IV medication administration and device management (PICC, port, midline, etc.), patient and family education on treatment plans and self-care, effective communication with the care team, adherence to infection prevention and hazardous drug handling standards, and ongoing professional development within the infusion center.
