Job Summary
Assess patients, apply nursing and clinical processes, and deliver quality patient care under supervision while supporting patient evaluation and documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and medical staff to achieve clinical goals, implement standardized care protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Nurse Practice Act and Joint Commission standards. Serve as a triage nurse in urgent care, primary care clinic, or charge nurse on the floor. Requires current California RN license, one year of experience preferred, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited school of nursing graduate
- Current California State Board of Nursing Registered Nurse License
- Minimum of a year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Valid BLS certification or higher following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an ambulatory care environment, i.e., clinic or Urgent Care setting
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Bilingual in other languages or experience in American Sign Language
