Job Summary
Conduct assessments, approve care plans, and implement rehabilitative strategies for clients. Monitor and administer medications orally or via injection, while reviewing physician orders and discontinuing treatments as directed. Coordinate medical needs, write progress notes and discharge summaries, and report significant incidents or health hazards to proper authorities. Perform competency evaluations on direct care staff and assist in updating nursing, pharmacy, and infection control policies. Maintain assigned nursing budget and promote consumer health plans to facilitate independence. Requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing or RN from an accredited two-year program, valid driver's license and insurance, and must be 21 years of age.
