Job Summary
Conduct assessments, approve care plans, and implement rehabilitative strategies for clients while monitoring and administering oral medications and injections. Order, review, and discontinue medications as directed by physicians, and write progress notes, summaries, and discharge documents. Coordinate medical needs, attend weekly team meetings, and perform competency evaluations on direct care staff. Report significant incidents, notify authorities of health hazards, and assist in updating nursing, pharmacy, and safety policies. Maintain assigned nursing budget and promote consumer health plans to facilitate independence. Requires a bachelor's degree or RN license, valid driver's license, and insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- Holds a bachelor's degree in nursing or related health and human services field from an accredited college or university OR an RN from an accredited two-year program
- Valid driver's license and insurance required
