Job Summary
Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans while monitoring and reporting changes in patient symptoms or behavior. Communicate with collaborating physicians regarding patient care, educate patients about health maintenance, and facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate patient medical records and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. Perform nursing processes with minimal supervision in a per diem capacity. Requires an active California RN license, one year of acute setting experience, and certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Registered Nursing (RN) program
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in the Acute Setting
- Active California RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (American Heart Association)
- Current FLU Vaccination
- Must be Vaccinated for COVID-19
Desired Qualifications
- NIHSS (National Institute Heart and Stroke Scale) Certification
