Job Summary
Staff Nurse position in Bloomington/Huntington, IN focused on infection control, urinalysis toxicology data analysis, order entry, triage and patient assessments, EMR documentation, and leading HIV/Hepatitis and Nutrition group sessions within a substance-use/psychiatric recovery setting. Requires Indiana RN/LPN licensure, CPR, and experience in substance abuse or psychiatric environments; 12-hour shifts with weekend availability; provides clinical training support for BHTs and carries potential overtime. Competitive salary based on licensure and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse in Indiana
- CPR Certification required
- Several years of experience in a substance abuse or psychiatric setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and must be available to work weekends and have schedule flexibility
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential in Indiana required
- CPR certification required and must be maintained during employment
- Multiple years of experience in a substance abuse or psychiatric environment
- Strong communication skills required (verbal and written)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts AND MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS/ FLEX
