Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to end-user clients within the clinical scope of services for the SPS, either independently or within a team environment. Responsibly triage medical conditions and respond quickly to emergencies, including first aid, AED use, and IV fluid resuscitation. Perform approved health services such as initial care for injuries, medical surveillance, walk-in care, preventive screenings, and point-of-care laboratory procedures. Deliver personalized health counseling, conduct comprehensive health risk assessments, and administer prescribed short-term treatments. Identify population health trends to develop health education seminars and determine appropriate formulary products. Follow FOH policies and SOPs while collecting data for national quality indicators. Requires RN licensure, BLS certification, and one year of occupational health or related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from NLN accredited school of nursing (Diploma, AD, or BSN)
- RN licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health care provider certification
- 1 year experience in occupational health or related experience such as public health/community health, outpatient clinic, emergency department or ambulatory healthcare, or physician office nursing
- At least one year experience (within last 5 years) in acute care setting
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to perform identified nursing services
- Competence in basic Microsoft Office suite programs
- Ability to pass competency review
- Ability to maintain ability to perform physical requirements of the job (including physical requirements of emergency response)

Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training
- CAOHC Certification
- NIOSH spirometry training/certification
