Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility policies. Directs and manages the care of designated patients, collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, communicates effectively with patients and families, and supports unit and hospital goals. Demonstrates leadership and mentoring of new colleagues and department interns, utilizes technology to optimize care delivery, and participates in performance improvement and evidence-based practice to ensure quality and safety.
