Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Advanced / Specialized Heart Failure position within Yale New Haven Health System. The RN delivers patient-centered care guided by ANA Standards of Practice, with responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation; coordination of care; health teaching and promotion; and participation in professional governance. Requires nursing licensure in Connecticut; BSN preferred; BCLS certification or acquisition within one month of hire; opportunity to advance clinically through SPIRE program. Unit-focused roles include cardiovascular medicine, post-operative cardiac surgery, and advanced heart failure care in a busy cardiac inpatient environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
- Experience encouraged to advance through SPIRE clinical advancement program
