Registered Nurse - Advanced / Specialized Heart Failure

Registered Nurse on specialized heart failure units (neuro/ICU focus) with responsibilities including assessing patients’ physical and psychosocial conditions, developing and communicating plans of care, coordinating with the healthcare team, supervising non-RN personnel, and serving as a charge nurse. Roles involve advanced heart failure care on Cardiac ICU and related units, competency in neuro assessments and airway management (including tracheostomy care and suctioning), and readiness for discharge planning. Opportunities for education, mentorship, and professional development are highlighted within a Cardiac ICU/Cardiothoracic ICU environment. Licensure as an RN in Connecticut is required; BSN preferred; BCLS certification required or obtained within one month of hire; clinical specialty certification encouraged.
