Job Summary
Conduct holistic patient recovery by performing comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments that capture physical and mental well-being. Design individualized care pathways through nursing plans aligned with treatment team goals to ensure patient stability. Facilitate therapeutic breakthroughs by leading group therapy sessions and implementing evidence-based interventions that empower healthy coping mechanisms. Advocate as a clinical expert within multidisciplinary team conferences to influence treatment evolution and safety. Monitor and pivot care strategies by continuously evaluating patient responses to treatment for real-time adjustments. Night-shift full-time role at Ascension Via Christi St Joseph Adult Psychiatry Nursing Unit.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Professional licensure at time of hire
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current, unrestricted license in the state of practice
