Job Summary
Registered Nurse-Adolescent role with Mass General Brigham at The ART, a 22-bed short-term residential program in Middleboro, MA. Responsibilities include interpreting the plan of medical care, assessing clinical decision-making for nursing care, delivering safe and individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients. Administer medications and monitor for reactions, record vital signs and medical information, monitor for changes in patients’ conditions, and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Modify treatment plans based on patient responses. The program utilizes dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) as its primary treatment modality and serves patients with psychiatric and psychosocial challenges, including suicidal and non-suicidal self-injurious behaviors, mood and anxiety disorders, substance misuse, psychosis, and trauma reactivity. Remote Type Onsite.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- RN licensure (Registered Nurse)
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with patient care principles and nursing terminology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively
