Job Summary
Coordinate daily nursing operations with leadership to ensure clinical objectives and quality patient care are implemented across assigned ministries. Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff while contributing to performance evaluations. Serve as a resource for the team, manage patient flow within assigned areas, and provide support and coordination for patient emergencies. Open and lead incident command for internal or external disasters until relieved. Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, identify issues affecting desired outcomes, and manage patient care complaints through established channels. Provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff. Maintain a constant state of alertness and safe manner while performing other duties as assigned. Requires two years of registered nurse experience with progressive leadership responsibility. Night shift position.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Two years' registered nurse experience, with demonstrated progressive leadership responsibility
