Job Summary
Position Summary: Part-time Registered Nurse delivering professional nursing care to patients in the home setting under the established plan of care. Essential duties include assessing, planning and intervening using the nursing process; administering treatments and medications; supervising LPN and Home Health Aide visits; documenting in the clinical record; coordinating with patients, families and healthcare team; and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and RN licensure in the state of practice, with at least 1 year of clinical experience; ability to perform home visits and complete timely documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
- Licensed as a RN in the state of practice
- At least one (1) year clinical practical nursing experience preferably in intensive care, rehabilitation or medical surgical nursing
- Ability to make home visits and provide nursing care in the home environment
- Ability to complete necessary documentation appropriately, legibly and timely
