Job Summary
Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in the acute neuro unit in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing within the State of Georgia and hold current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Work the 1900-0730 shift at Northside Hospital, an award-winning facility expanding quality care in Atlanta. A BSN degree and two years of RN experience are required, with additional clinical specialty certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- 1900-0730
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
