Registered Nurse - Acute Medicine Unit

Job Summary
Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients on the Acute Medicine Unit in accordance with physician orders, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and established guidelines. Deliver Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) and maintain licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing within the State of Georgia. A BSN degree and two years of experience are preferred, along with additional clinical specialty certifications such as ACLS or PALS. Schedule includes 7P-7A hours with rotating weekend requirements. Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- 7P-7A
- Weekend Requirements: Yes- Rotating Basis
Desired Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN)
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
