Job Summary
Registered Nurse in acute inpatient dialysis setting providing initial and ongoing patient assessments, planning and implementing individualized care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; responsible for documenting assessments, developing and updating care plans, educating patients and families using teach-back, and ensuring adherence to safety and nursing protocols. Requires NYS RN licensure, BLS, and an ADN/ASN or diploma with RN preparation; typical schedule is 40 hours/week (days/evenings with 2 Saturdays per month).
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Registered Nurse license in New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AS: Nursing (Required)
