Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care for patients and families according to established standards, including collecting comprehensive health data, analyzing assessments, and developing individualized care plans. Implement prescribed strategies and strategies for expected outcomes while evaluating progress toward attainment. Direct coordination of care across settings, collaborate with patient, family, and healthcare providers, and document all processes, policies, and service offerings accurately. Treat patients with compassion, respect confidentiality, and participate in quality improvement activities to improve care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing from a state accredited school
- 1+ years Nursing Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current Georgia license
- Adheres to the hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines
- Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and vision of the organization
- Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures
- Maintains current knowledge in present areas of responsibility
- Attends staff meetings and completes mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time
- Demonstrates competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs
- Wears protective clothing and equipment as appropriate

- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
