Job Summary

Responsible for planning, delivery and management of direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge, with discharge planning and coordination of care. Directs and supervises nursing care within the assigned clinical setting, delegates appropriately, and ensures competency. Requires active MA nursing licensure and BLS (ACLS preferred); BSN highly preferred. 12-hour night shift in the Acute Care Float Pool; non-exempt status. Schedule includes nights with specific weekend/holiday detail. Affirms commitment to standards of respect and inclusive care in a large health system.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
  • BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS certification is current, in addition to any unit specific certifications and competencies
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred
