Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and provide direct patient care in an acute inpatient medical/surgical setting. Monitor patient status, validate goals with families, and coordinate interdisciplinary tasks while ensuring safety and cost containment. Document progress, evaluate care effectiveness, and lead quality improvement initiatives. Adhere to all compliance policies, including licensure renewal and infection control protocols. Requires current RN license, Associate degree in Nursing, and one year of clinical experience. Weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts may be scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as a RN in the state the team member is working
- The acute inpatient setting may require staff to be scheduled for a weekend, holiday, and on-call work
