Job Summary
Provide primary nursing care to hospitalized patients across Medical Surgical, Special Care Oncology, Advanced Joint Care Center, and Float Pool units. Assess physical, psychological, and social needs; administer IV medications; monitor conditions; and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Effectively plan, coordinate, and implement patient care plans while documenting accurately in the EMR. Adhere to infection control policies, participate in quality improvement programs, and set priorities based on patient acuity. Complete all required documentation according to established policies. Schedule: 7p-7a, 24-30 hours per week. Benefits eligible with sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN degree
- State of Wisconsin nursing licensure, compact license or temporary permit
- CPR certification within 3 months of hire
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply proper procedures to Beloit Health System policies
- Excellent communication skills
- Teamwork skills
