Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status reviews. Direct the interdisciplinary team through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient delivery. Collaboratively develop individualized plans of care with patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Maintain BLS certification and transfer compact licenses within 60 days of hire. Requires a current BSN and state RN license, with BLS certification mandatory. Located at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, with a weekly schedule of 36 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- BSN Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
