Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary team coordination. Direct care delivery through delegation and prioritization while managing time, supplies, and resources. Provide accurate, timely documentation and maintain legal and ethical standards within the scope of licensure. Collaborate with physicians, family, and support staff to develop individualized care plans, including education and referrals. Located at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, this role requires a current Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification. BSN is required for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
