Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status reviews. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, delegate tasks, and coordinate patient discharge education and referrals. Direct care delivery by managing time, supplies, and resources while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Maintain BLS certification and transfer compact licenses within 60 days of hire. Requires a current RN license and BSN degree; experience under 12 months mandates BSN acquisition within four years. Full-time 36-hour schedule at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
