Job Summary
Assess physical, social, and psychological patient status while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans. Implement delegated care consistent with professional licensure and guidelines, prioritizing patient needs through effective time and resource management. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revising care plans based on clinical outcomes and satisfaction. Provide accurate, timely documentation and maintain legal and ethical standards throughout care delivery. Requires BLS certification and current state nursing license; BSN required for hires after April 27, 2025. Full range of motion needed for patient transfers and equipment handling. Located at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, with 36 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025
- Employees hired or promoted prior to this date will be held to the minimum requirements that were in place at the time of their promotion or hire
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
