Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Direct the interdisciplinary team through delegation and coordination while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver care. Collaboratively develop individualized plans of care with patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Work 3/12-hour shifts totaling 36 weekly hours at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and potential BSN within four years.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Med Surg/Stepdown with preferably one year experience
