Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients on the night shift, utilizing the nursing process to address physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs of older adults. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while managing priorities, supplies, and resources to ensure safe patient transitions. Provide accurate documentation, coordinate with physicians and support staff, and revise care plans based on patient outcomes and satisfaction. This role supports a specialized ACE program dedicated to preserving function and promoting independence for patients aged 65 and older.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Night Shift
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
