Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients on the night shift, utilizing the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, family, and support staff, to develop individualized care plans that address the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs of older adults. Direct care delivery through delegation and coordination, manage patient priorities, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining legal and ethical standards. Provide comprehensive mobility support and patient education, focusing on preserving function and promoting independence for patients aged 65 and older in our specialized ACE unit.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- Night Shift
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
