Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of older adults on the night shift, utilizing the nursing process to manage physical, social, and psychological needs. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while ensuring comprehensive care planning and timely documentation. Promote the nursing profession by adhering to legal and ethical standards, maintaining accurate records, and practicing within scope of licensure. This role supports a specialized ACE unit dedicated to preserving function and promoting independence for patients aged 65 and older. Night shift hours are 36 weekly, with a starting hourly rate of $37.45 to $57.29.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Night Shift
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
