Registered Nurse

Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs, develop nursing care plans, and maintain medical records while educating families about conditions. Administer medications accurately, document controlled substance counts, and ensure physicians' verbal orders are transcribed appropriately. Notify doctors of significant status changes, complete admission and discharge processing, and coordinate unit activities. Demonstrate universal precautions, maintain therapeutic rapport with patients, and communicate professionally with visitors and co-workers. Requires current RN license, one year of nursing experience, and CPR/de-escalation certification. Full-time day or night shifts available at Mount Carmel Behavioral Health Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
