Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for 12-hour night shifts, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams and managing documentation. Utilize the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and therapeutic interventions to address physical, social, and psychological needs while setting priorities for patient safety and discharge planning. Maintain legal and ethical standards through accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulatory requirements. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN degree; experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow, and DKA patients preferred. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- 12 HR Night Shift
