Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Direct interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient delivery. Provide accurate documentation, ensure legal and ethical compliance, and revise care plans based on patient response and clinical outcomes. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, performing patient transfers, equipment manipulation, and ambulation assistance. Requires current state license, BLS certification, and BSN within four years; experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow, and DKA patients preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
