Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Direct care delivery through delegation, prioritize tasks, and manage resources to ensure timely and accurate documentation. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and provide education and referrals to support long-term outcomes. Maintain legal and ethical standards, comply with regulatory guidelines, and practice within scope of licensure. Requires 12-hour night shift with 24 weekly hours; BLS certification required. BSN degree mandated for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
