Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Coordinate interdisciplinary teams by delegating tasks, managing resources, and collaborating with physicians and support staff. Document patient interactions accurately and adhere to legal and ethical standards while maintaining professional etiquette. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN degree.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
