Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Direct interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate delivery. Evaluate patient response to interventions, revise care plans, and provide education or referrals as needed. Maintain accurate documentation, comply with legal and ethical standards, and integrate therapeutic interventions with evidence-based practice. This role requires a current Registered Nurse license and BLS certification, with a BSN required for new hires. Schedule includes 24 weekly hours on the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
