Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, delegate tasks, and coordinate patient delivery while managing time and resources. Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Requires a current Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, and BSN within four years of hire. Includes 12-hour night shift rotation at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
