Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a 12-hour night shift, utilizing the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams. Direct care delivery through delegation and collaboration, setting priorities while managing time, supplies, and resources. Maintain accurate documentation, integrate legal and ethical standards, and revise care plans based on patient response and clinical outcomes. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and ability to lift heavy items, operate complex equipment, and navigate crowded environments. BSN required for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
