Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources. Provide or delegate care consistent with the plan of care, guidelines, and professional licensure provisions. Evaluate patient response to interventions and revise the plan of care as indicated. Promote the nursing profession, integrate legal and ethical standards, and provide accurate documentation. Work the 12-hour night shift at Intermountain Health's Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, with a weekly schedule of 24 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
