Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process, interdisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based practice. Direct the care team through delegation and coordination while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver individualized plans of care. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of all clinical activities. Maintain legal and ethical standards within the scope of licensure while promoting professional development. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, with a weekly schedule of 24 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
