Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and interdisciplinary team coordination. Direct care delivery through delegation, prioritize tasks, and manage resources while providing accurate documentation and adhering to legal and ethical standards. Perform physical patient transfers, ambulate patients, and operate medical equipment with precision in a busy hospital environment. Work the 12-hour night shift with 24 weekly hours at Intermountain Health's Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
