Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status reviews. Coordinate interdisciplinary teams by delegating tasks, managing resources, and collaborating with physicians and support staff. Develop individualized care plans with patient and family involvement, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, performing patient transfers, operating medical equipment, and responding to alarms during emergency situations. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN degree; experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow, and DKA patients preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
