Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Coordinate interdisciplinary care through delegation, collaboration, and resource management while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Support patient education, referrals, and follow-up plans, and manage priorities in a busy environment requiring manual dexterity for equipment operation and patient transfers. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver with a weekly schedule of 24 hours. Requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, and a BSN degree.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
