Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Direct the interdisciplinary team via delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate delivery. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards. Work the 12-hour night shift with a weekly schedule of 24 hours, earning $37.45 to $57.29 hourly. Requires current RN license and BLS certification; BSN degree required for new hires. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
