Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Coordinate interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver care. Evaluate patient response to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and provide accurate, timely documentation. Maintain legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and licensure provisions. This 12-hour night shift role at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver requires a current Registered Nurse license and BLS certification. BSN is required for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
