Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status reviews. Coordinate interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver individualized care plans. Evaluate patient response to interventions and revise care plans as needed based on clinical outcomes and satisfaction. Provide accurate and timely documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, requiring strong manual dexterity for equipment manipulation and the ability to lift and transfer patients. BSN required; experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow, and DKA patients preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
