Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient care delivery. Provide accurate and timely documentation, maintain legal and ethical standards, and revise care plans based on patient response and clinical outcomes. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, performing patient transfers, equipment manipulation, and ambulation assistance. Requires a current Registered Nurse license with a BSN, BLS certification, and experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow, and DKA patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- 12 HR Night Shift
