Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status reviews. Direct interdisciplinary teams through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to coordinate delivery. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, requiring manual dexterity for equipment manipulation and physical ability to transfer patients. Maintain BLS certification; BSN required for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
