Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status checks. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, delegate tasks, and coordinate patient discharge needs. Direct care delivery by managing time, supplies, and resources while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal standards. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, providing continuous patient evaluation and revising care plans based on clinical outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
