Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status. Coordinate interdisciplinary care through delegation and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources. Direct care delivery consistent with guidelines, ensure accurate documentation, and revise plans based on patient response. Work the 12-hour night shift at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, handling patient transfers, equipment operation, and emergency communication. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and BSN within four years.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
