Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, including physical, social, and psychological status checks. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and coordinate patient delivery through delegation and resource management. Direct care consistent with professional licensure while providing accurate documentation and adhering to legal and ethical standards. Work the 12-hour night shift with a weekly schedule of 24 hours at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN degree, with experience preferred for managing Bipap, heated Hi Flow, and DKA patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
- Experience with Bipap, heated Hi Flow and DKA patients
